Wow, what a year it has been! I hope that all of you out in blogland had a wonderful HannaKwannzaChristmaKah. :) Our CHRISTMAS was wonderful, though very quiet, and I was kind of lonely, since I'm used to huge family gatherings. :( Just for the record- this was my first Christmas EVER away from "home". I have never spent a holiday without my mommy and daddy and brother and sister and the whole rest of my family (grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, THEIR grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, children, neighbors, etc.) so I was just a little on the lonely side, even though I had my hubby and wonderful children. My mommy and daddy are gonna visit soon, though. Yay! (sorry about the whole mommy and daddy bit, I'm feeling kind of childish today, esp after a convo with my Papa. Aww.) We got Monkey some LOTS OF Littlest Pet Shop stuff, and Bubba a nifty pirate ship that you can change all the pieces on however you want- like a Mr. Potato Head! Oh, and we got him a Crayola Glow Station, and they are forever fighting over it! My Nana and Papa sent them a really cute Step 2 table and chair set, and my Aunt and Uncle (and cousins and my cousin's kids) sent them a nifty refrigerator learning toy and a fire station playset! Yay! We also got the traditional stockings- IN THE MAIL from my mommy!

My really great friend Gabrielle and her hubby got a SUPER Christmas present 2 days early- they're BEAUTIFUL little girl was born! I miss them so much! Gabrielle is such a super sweet girl, and we have a ton of the same hobbies, and so do our hubbies (with each other, that is). Her husband is a really great guy, and he is in the Air Force, so they go where the wind blows him. lol. They are a VERY long way away right now. :(

My friend Jill lost her little boy 2 months ago, and we haven't really spoken since. I feel so terrible about it. He was suffering from a horroble disease called Neurofibromatosis- it caused tumors to grow on his nerves, and no matter how many were removed, they just grew back, with a vengance. He was 18 months old. If anyone would like to contribute to the research of this disease, you can check out this page: http://www.ninds.nih.gov/disorders/neurofibromatosis/neurofibromatosis.htm, which has multiple links to different organizations. Her son suffered from NF2, and it was, obviously, as severe as it gets. I ahve known Jill since they eighth grade, and I miss her very much. I wish I could have been there for her in her time of need, but I just couldn't afford to go to Virginia to be with her. I'm sorry, Jilly Bean! I still love you very much! I miss you. <3

My other friend, Jorie, whom I have also known since the eighth grade, is only one state away from me, but I haven't seen her in years. I miss you too, Joey! I blame Klapernicus and Rosebud on you, to this day! lol. (It's Jorie's fault that I am a SIM addict!) lol. Love you Jor! Hope you and Keegan and the Beau had a great HanaChristmaskuh!

I will be posting a few new SVG files soon, but I have to make them first. lol. In the meantime, be sure to check out svgcuts.com/blog for all of their wonderful freebies! I LOVE that sight!

Happy New Year to all!
